The Rotary Club of Banora Tweed has worked closely with the Chinderah Community Hub since the 2022 Tweed Valley flood which had a devastating impact on the Chinderah community. Initially, they provided funds for items the Hub donated to flood affected residents and then direct financial assistance to residents and also repaired several properties. We are now working in partnership with Anglicare North Coast and the Rotary club to reduce loneliness and isolation through initiatives aimed at community connection and cohesion, developing relationships and resilience among flood affected Chinderah residents and the wider local community. It is a pleasure to be working and collaborating with the members of the Rotary Club of Banora Tweed, in our common goal of supporting our community
