Rotary offers many opportunities for volunteering.

The Rotary Club Banora Tweed undertakes projects and activities that make a difference internationally, in the local community and for the youth of the Banora Tweed area. The club offers opportunities both to lead and support projects, assist with fund raising activities, to meet new and interesting people, to network and enhance your social life.

Over the past 40 odd years, the club has supported many young people with scholarships and opportunities to attend Rotary personal development courses. We have two men’s mental wellbeing projects and assist charities such as Kids in Need, Chinderah Community Hub, You have a Friend and the Family Centre. At the international level, we prepare birthing kits for Pacific Islanders and collect recyclable school furniture which is sent to needy Pacific Island schools. We donate to Rotary’s Foundation charity, which funds projects all over the world.

The old adage is that if you don’t use it, you lose it.  Rotary clubs require lots of different skills and insights. Don’t let your skill and knowledge wither away.  Join us or another Rotary Club and use your skills whilst enjoying the comradery of being a member of the Club as well as the buzz of giving back to your community.
