Supporting Local Students

The Rotary Club of Banora-Tweed in collaboration with Tweed Shire Council sponsored Kye, Zack & Liam from St Joseph’s College Banora Point (in the photos) and William from Banora Point High School (not in the photos) to attend the Engineering Summer School at the University of Sydney in December 2024. They were also offered two days’ work experience at Tweed Shire council engineering facilities associated with treating waste water and water mains installations.

The Rotary Club of Banora Tweed (RCBT) has been supporting the Kids in Need charity for 40 years. Each year the Kids in Need charity conducts a Dragon Boat festival at Jack Evans Harbour to raise funds. RCBT provides food services for the event and donates a significant portion of the profits back to the charity. RCBT President Clive presented Kids in Need representatives Eric and Angela the with this year's donation. 23/9/2024

Breakfast brothers is a joint initative between Anglicare, Chinderah Community Hub and the Rotary Club of Banora Tweed.

Rotary Club of Banora Tweed is excited that the Lunch Ladies events at the Chinderah Scout Hall designed to support mental well being and resilience is growing. If you are interested, the next meeting is at 11 am , !st october at the Chinderah Scout Hall , Chinderah. For further information please contact our Secretary on rcbt.secretary@outlook.com. This is a joint initiative between Anglicare, Chinderah Community and Rotary Club of Banora Tweed. FYI. A similar initiative for men is held on 24th September 9.30am for breakfast at the same location.
